Parking and location
The Activity Centre is tucked away in the north-east corner of the country park overlooking Black Swan Lake, with two adjoining car parks and one bus stop away from the main entrance. Facilities and opening hours
Our facilities include changing rooms with a lake view terrace, showers, toilets, function rooms and a café. The main entrance of the park is a 15-minute walk away with a popular café and award-winning play park. You can download our annual opening hours (PDF document) at the end of this page.
Before you visit
Please leave jewellery at home and have long hair tied back. Tape is available for jewellery that cannot be removed.
If you or your child are booked in for full day course or activities, then please bring a packed lunch and snacks with you. We do have a café on site serving hot and cold drinks along with sandwiches, cakes and other snacks.
Additionally, if you or your child require medication such as inhalers or epi-pens then pack that too. During the summer months our meadow is in bloom so if you suffer from hay fever bring your antihistamines!
