Bring out your inner Robin Hood with our Book and Play Archery sessions.
Our Archery sessions are great for anyone over age of 6 and bring fun and excitement to your weekend! Our experienced instructors will help you learn the basics of archery in a safe, relaxed environment. We provide all the necessary equipment, so you don't need to worry about bringing anything. Our archery sessions are a great way to have fun and learn a new skill.
Supervision Requirements
- Children under the age of 14 must be directly supervised within the archery range.
- Maximum supervision ratio: One adult per two children.
What to Wear
- Comfortable clothing and trainers.
- Ensure earrings and long hair are covered and tucked away.

FAQ's
- Each session is one hour long, with 15 mins kitting up and safety briefing and 45 minutes of physical shooting.
- We welcome everyone from the age of 6+ on our family sessions but suggest that the maximum enjoyment would be had from age 8 upwards.
- All children under the age of 14 must be directly supervised within the archery range. The maximum ratio for supervision is one adult per two children. 14- to 16-year-olds can shoot without direct supervision if the parent remains near the archery range.
- Over 16 year olds can shoot without guardianship.
- Supervising adults can enter for free, but they will not be given a bow.
- Paying adults are welcome to join in with the shooting, if there is a supervising adult who remains available whilst the other is shooting.
- No previous archery experience is required
- All equipment is provided along with a full safety briefing prior to your session. Please allow up to 15 minutes for the equipment to be fitted and your safety briefing delivered, before you can start shooting.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. Open toed shoes, or high-heeled shoes are not permitted in the archery range.
- Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, must be removed prior to the session for safety reasons.
- Lockers are available in the adult changing rooms and require a padlock. You can use your own or purchase one from reception to keep.
- All non-archers will be asked to stay behind the waiting line or outside of the archery ange.
- Food is not permitted in the archery range, however you are welcome to enjoy the café or spectator terrace upstairs before or after your session (or during, if you are not a supervising adult).
