FAQ's

Where is the event?

Held at Dinton Activity Centre, with views over Black Swan Lake.  We have seating available on the Coffee Deck, inside the cafe and on the front lawns.  It does get busy and seating is limited but you are welcome to bring your own chairs and blankets for the lawn and beach areas.

Do I need a ticket?

Not at all, this is a free to attend event, with no bookings necessary.

Can I go on the lake?

Yes, absolutely!  Either book a lake access pass with your own craft or hire boats from the team, we have a selection of pedalos, paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Is there parking available?

Yes. The Activity Centre has its own car park, with overflow available on the opposite side of Sandford Lane in Lavells Car Park. Pay and display tickets are available from the car park ticket machines. Payment is by cash, credit or debit card. The main post code for the entrance to the Activity Centre is RG10 0SU.

Can I perform?

We are always looking for new local artists to support the event, if you are interested please send your details to eventbookings@wokingham.gov.uk with information and a video or social media links.

Is there food?

We have food each evening and this does change, some nights we have BBQ's, other nights Pizzas, keep an eye on our socials for up to date information and guest pop up experiences.

Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Please ensure your dog is kept on a lead at all times and that you clean up after them.

Can I set up a gazebo?

No, pop-up structures such as gazebos, tents, or large umbrellas are not allowed, as they can obstruct the view for other attendees. We do have a large stretch tent on the front lawns should you require shelter.

Is the event accessible for wheelchair users?

Yes, we strive to make the event as accessible as possible. There is dedicated parking and suitable toilet facilities. There is a lift to the first floor of the Activity Centre and ramps leading down to the main pathways and beach.
